Our Programs
Tutoring and Academic Support Services
Located on the ground floor of the Captain Charles H. Hurly Library, the Academic Resource Center operates three academic support units that provide tutoring and other forms of academic assistance to students throughout the academic year. Students are strongly encouraged to utilize the services and resources available. A brief description of each academic support unit appears below. For hours and more information about specific services offered by each, follow the links provided or use the navigation bar to the left of each page.
The Writing Resource Center (WRC) provides assistance and feedback for all types or written and verbal communication you will encounter during your degree program. Utilize WRC resources when you need a trained reader or observer to evaluate your work.
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) provides assistance with courses in science, engineering, technology, mathematics, business, and other disciplines. Utilize LRC resources when yo need a trained tutor to help you learn or reinforce skills for a specific course.
The Assessment and Advising Center (AAC) is currently in its developmental stages. While no formal advising is yet available, a range of workshops, assessment tests, and proctoring services are conducted through the AAC.

The ARC director is available to provide informational sessions about academic support services to the MMA campus community.
